Lip Lingerie
Vavavoom! That is the one word to describe creator Diane Brill's new sexy lingerie-inspired cosmetic line, Lip Lingerie. The Lip Lingerie line of lipsticks, lip glosses and lip liner duos are sexy, playful, seductive and thoroughly indulgent.

I was sooo excited to get my hands on these products and try them out for myself. I tried two lip lingerie lipsticks, two lip glosses and two lip liner duos.

Lip Lingerie Lipsticks ($22)
The Lip Lingerie lipsticks come in twelve negligee colors ranging from red, nude, silver, pink and brown. These lipsticks are infused with grapeseed oil, squalene and chamomile, which provide excellent conditioning to give you those perfect kissable lips. They also contain a lip plumper and are gently perfumed. The lipstick packaging is completely adorable. Each silver cased lipstick is adorned with black fishnet stockings, and light pink design, and is enclosed in a cute pink box with a seduction tip from Ms. Brill tucked inside. Could these lipsticks get any cuter?

I tried two Lip Lingerie Lipsticks - Nude Negligee, a warm nude with mega sparkle, and DB Pink, a coral with a kiss of red.

I applied Nude Negligee to my lips without a liner. Wow! Do I love this very sheer sparkly nude color! This is truly beautiful on and would look great on almost all skin tones. My lips felt totally indulged by the soft, satiny texture of this lipstick. The lipstick is so creamy and glides on so nicely. I don't think my lips have ever felt so soft and warm from a lipstick before. The lip plumper is the ingredient that gives your lips the warm feeling.

This color is long lasting and looks even richer over the lip liner duos, Demi Cup and Ruffled Panties. I felt like I was slipping on my favorite silky negligee. There was something about picking up the fishnet case and applying it to my lips that made me feel like I was being transformed into a "seductress" for the night. I love the sparkles, too, which are made from tiny and real sterling silver shimmers. I found I couldn't keep my eyes off of them. So I thought, if I can't keep my eyes off them, then how could a date? I also put this color on the next morning. I think I am officially addicted!

I also tried DP Pink, but whoa! did I have some bright lips! Not used to seeing myself with so much color. This is a beautiful color but way too bright for my skin tone. Am thinking this would be beautiful on darker or tanned skin.

The only thing that I was not crazy about is that each lipstick is perfumed. I am just not a big perfume person especially when it comes to lipsticks. Although the lipsticks have a nice, subtle perfumed scent, I would personally like it better without. But even with the perfumed scent, it is not enough to keep me from buying the Nude Negligee lipstick, or trying/buying other lipsticks in the line. Also, if you combine Nude Negligee lips with smoky black or brown eyes - Wow! What a sexy look!

Lip Lingerie Lip Gloss ($20)
The Lip Lingerie lip glosses come in 10 shades ranging from red, nude, pink and clear. They are packaged in a cute glass jar and pink box containing a ruffled bon-bon paper that says "Slip It On!" Very, very adorable! Each gloss is designed to be a lip treatment with vitamins, antioxidants and humectants, as well as a lip plumper.

The lip gloss jar looks very small but it is deceiving because a little of this product goes a long way. I tried the Camisole Ribbon, a clear gloss with a hint of pink, and Lace Teddy, an almond and vanilla. I tried both colors first without the lip linger duo so I could really see the color and test it out.

Both colors are great but Lace Teddy is my favorite as it is a really natural looking pinkish brown. Just the perfect amount of color on your lips. This lip gloss also feels great on because it doesn't feel too thick or have a gooey feel at all. It goes on pretty sheer and feels very lightweight on. My lips also feel lusciously soft and warm (that lip plumper is kicking in again!).

I also tried both the Camisole Ribbon and Lace Teddy lip gloss over the nude colored lip liner duos, Demi Cup and Ruffled Panties. First, I lined and filled in my lips with the liner, then took the back of the liner brush and applied the gloss. I tried both liners with both lip glosses and they were really natural looking, great nude colors.

Lip Lingerie Lip Liner Duo ($19)
The Lip Lingerie Lip Liner Duos are available in five colors ranging from nude, to pink and red and were designed by Ms. Brill to look like natural lip shades. Each Lip Liner Duo comes in a fabulous pink metal cigar tube in a cute pink box. The cigar tube is perfect for people like me who constantly either can't find or lose their lip liners in their purse. This makes it very easy to spot! These liners are truly fabulous, too, because each liner has a contoured brush on the end (what a great idea!). Perfect for applying the lip gloss or lipstick.

I tried the Lip Liner Duo in Demi Cup, the clear Rosewood, and Ruffled Panties, a creamy cinnamon. Loved both nude colors so much that I could not decide which one I loved more! Very natural looking and pretty on. The liners were super soft and glided onto my lips really nicely. Also, when I outlined and filled in my lips with each color, my lips were still soft. I find that some liners really dry out your lips, but not these. If you want your lipstick or lip gloss to last, I always suggest that you outline and fill in your lips with the lip liner color before applying a gloss or lipstick. Also, unless you find yourself at an 80's party, it is important to note that lining your lips with a dark lip liner color and lighter lip gloss or lipstick is a very tragic mistake. I would definitely have to send the make-up police after you for that one!

I am really impressed with this sexy new line and I am sure it will be a major hit among the fashionably hip. The only problem is these products feel so luxurious - and you feel so sexy wearing them - you may just never want to take them off!
