As promised, this week I have even more Clarins reviews to add to last week's collection! If you like trying new products as much as I do, I highly recommend a visit to your local Clarins counter for samples galore. This week's tests included Cleansing Milk with Gentian, Multi-Active Night Lotion, and Gentle Day Cream for sensitive skin. You'll find full reviews of these and last week's Clarins trials at: http://www.kleinman.com/cosmetic/clarins.html By now, I'm sure you've figured out that I like samples! For drugstore lines that don't have samples, the next best thing is travel or trial size. I don't travel much, but I've got samples or trial sizes of more products than my bathroom can hold! This week I added to the pile with a trial size of L'Oreal's Luminair creme-to-powder makeup. For normal, combination, or slightly oily skin, Luminair is a nice alternative to liquid foundation. It goes on smoothly and has a nice range of colors. If you are dry at all, or have any flaky skin, however, this foundation will unfortunately accentuate it. I'll be sticking to my liquid foundation this winter. Thank you to everyone who responded to the open call for the new Cosmetic Connection Product Panel. I will be reviewing each entry and announcing the Panel members in next week's report. When in place, the Product Panel and I will continue to bring you honest reviews of cosmetics and skin care from real people so you can make educated buying decisions. Just a reminder - January is almost over, so be sure to sign the Guestbook to be eligible for this month's Beauty Pack drawing. Say hello, leave your comments, or a favorite tip and you're automatically entered.
