Beauté Pacifique
report by Adrienne of the Cosmetic Connection Product Panel
I received a packet of skin care products from Beauté Pacifique and had an
opportunity to try quite a few. This line is a bit pricey and probably a good choice for dry skin. Since I have normal/combination skin it was a bit too rich for me. I reviewed the following products:
Cleansing Foam ($27)
This cleanser really did not foam and I never felt like it rinsed off completely. Left a residue on my face so I washed again with my favorite cleanser and finally felt clean.
Cleansing Milk ($29)
I had the same end result as above - a slightly slimy feel after
rinsing.
Vitamin A Anti-Wrinkle Crème ($68)
This is very emollient! A little goes a long way. This cream might be ideal for a mature skin (I am 42 and it was too rich for me) that has tight, dry spots.
Enriched Moisturizing Crème for all skin types ($43)
I tried this one at night and woke up feeling like a layer of oil was sitting on my face.
Enriched Vitamin A Anti-Wrinkle Eye Cream ($45)
I prefer to use eye gels because creams make my eyes puffy but I tried this. Very emollient, stays on the surface of the skin for awhile so it is probably better for night use.
Enriched Moisturizing Body Lotion ($48)
This is excellent for all those dry spots on knees, elbows, etc.
Enriched Hydrating Hand Crème ($19.50)
This is a great hand cream. For those of us who live in harsh winter climates it is a great treatment option!
