DHC
report by Jennifer of the Cosmetic Connection Product Panel

I have seen a large advertising campaign in effect for this line now for awhile. Whether it's been internet banners, magazine ads or direct mailing I think everyone must have heard of this line by now. I tried three basic products, the mild soap, toner and moisturizer. I have to say that all in all this line is quite bland and ineffective. I have nothing negative to report, but nothing very positive either. Unlike the Japanese line Komenuka Bijin, this line failed to impress me.

Mild Soap ($12)
This soap is advertised as mild and gentle with ingredients like honey and olive oil. I did not care for this particular cleanser. My dry skin did not look or feel any better having used it.

Balancing Lotion ($14)
I did like that this product is dye free and fragrance free, however there were no soothing effects at all! I think I should have tried the soothing lotion for drier skin.

Rich Moisture ($24)
Just not enough moisture here for me. My face still felt taut and even sticky after using this. Didn't like this too much either.

I hope some of you who have tried this line have better luck or can enlighten me as to which products are must haves. I just saw no results one way or the other after using this line.
