I have some big news this week - I finally took the plunge and
colored my hair! Winter always makes my medium blonde hair look drab
and lifeless, so I decided it needed a little brightening! Thanks to
Castings Tone-on-Tone Colorant by L'Oreal (in "Wheat"), I now have
subtle highlights and an overall shine that makes me look a bit more
alive! If you've been thinking about subtly changing your hair color
and are a chicken like me In other product review news, I finally took some much-needed time to try the Seaweed Mud Mask for dry skin that I got from BeneFit a few weeks ago. To make a long story short, I noticed a marked improvement in the drier areas of my face after using this mask. All the flaky patches and uncomfortable tightness felt soft and smooth. If you want to give your face a moisture boost, this mask from BeneFit really delivers. Read my complete review at http://www.kleinman.com/cosmetic/bene.html Thanks to all of you who participated in last week's Cosmetic Poll. What great responses I got! Many of you thought of something general, like nail polish, while some of you were very specific about exactly what you would buy. My favorite of these was "Kiehl's Imperiale Repairateur Treatment Line Formula 'MM' Moisturizing Masque". That reader really knows what she wants! Of the rest, here were the top five responses to the question: If you had $50 to spend on any cosmetic you wanted, what would you buy?
As for me, I love MAC, too, but I like that salon facial idea better! As usual, Cosmetic Connection is growing all the time! Be sure to visit this week for updates to the Links page and the Samples page, a new Garden Botanika review of their $25 Color Kits (http://www.kleinman.com.cosmetic/recommend.html), and, coming next Friday, January's new Feature story.
