Kristen has a new Neighbor
Benefit has finally come out with a skin care product that I want to tell my friends about. Don't get me wrong, I love Benefit's makeup, but I never have had wonderful things to say about most of the skincare products, except their Wonder Lift (another mask). Benefit Hi Neighbor!
is a facial mask with the color and consistency of Pepto Bismol. The application is not what I am used to - a sponge-type ball attached to a small rod coming from the cap - but I like it because I don't have to get my hands (or anything else) messy with the liquid. It's not a thick mask at all, so the application works. You just spread it all around and allow it to dry, just like any other mask. Rinse and you get soft, smooth skin. Since it is aimed for normal to oily skin, I am definitely the latter and the oil was soaked right up because of the clay in it. Let me tell you, I needed something to dry up my face in these hot and humid summer months in Texas. I can't say it cleaned out my pores, but it doesn't claim to. It just gently removes the greasies. I like to use it about once a week or whenever I feel like I need it to keep the oil at bay. It's so gentle that I could see using it daily if I had excessively oily skin because it doesn't strip your skin at all. There is nothing abrasive about it, and it's chock full of soothing properties.
