MARCH 00: PANEL PRODUCT FAVORITES
Heather is a 27 year old small business owner and mom to 1 year old Hannah. She has shoulder length highlighted blonde hair, blue eyes, and a fair complexion that is normal-to-dry, sensitive, and prone to hormonal acne on her cheeks and chin. Heather looks best in cool colors and typically wears the lightest shade in most foundation brands.

Figuring out my favorite products was no easy task, since I am almost always trying something new! I finally came up with I consider my (current) ideal routine.

Morning:
I start my morning off with a thick application of Sage Gelloid Moisturizer/Masque if my skin feels dry when I get up. I let it soak in for 20-30 minutes. In the shower, I use Sage Extra Gentle Corrective Grains over the Gelloid that didn't absorb, rinse, then use Clairol Herbal Essences Fresh Foam Mild Facial Cleanser or Peter Thomas Roth Sensitive Skin Cleansing Gel. I follow up with either Peter Thomas Roth Environmental Repair Hydrating Gel or Elizabeth Arden Ceramide Herbal Botanical Supplement as my first layer of moisturizer. I then use a little more Sage Gelloid, a dab of Peter Thomas Roth AHA/Kojic Under Eye Brightener under each eye, followed by a layer of either Sage SPF 25 sunblock or Reflect.com sunscreen.

After all my moisturizer has absorbed, I put on foundation (Neutrogena Healthy Skin Liquid Makeup in Classic Porcelain, Lorac Satin Makeup in M1, MAC Hyper Real in 100, Body & Soul Two-in-One Face Powder in #2 (from Sephora.com), and ILONA Realistic True-to-Skin Foundation in Real Ivory are a few favorites) and whatever makeup I am testing or using for the season.

Evening:
My night time routine is a bit different from the morning one. If my skin feels flaky or dull, I first use my Sage Extra Gentle Corrective Grains then I cleanse with either Sage Extra Gentle Facial Shampoo or Tony & Tina Herbal Cleanser. I always wash with cold water (not warm, but cold) and blot dry with a clean face towel.

For treatment, I switch off between Sage Glycolic Acid Smoothing Cream 6% and Peter Thomas Roth Ultra Gentle Botanical Skin Brightening Gel Complex to exfoliate and help keep acne away. I like the PTR Brightening Gel because it contains azaleic acid, a naturally occurring acid (comes from wheat) that helps the skin to renew itself and helps kill the bacteria that causes acne. I've had no problems with it even with my sensitive skin.

If I have a breakout already, I treat it with Sage Miracle Zit or Biore Blemish Bomb.

Just like in the morning, I use the PTR eye cream and Sage Gelloid again at night. Every week or so I also like to do a mask like 310 Banana Mint Face Mask (LOVE this one; smells good enough to eat!), Sage At Home Peel, Astara Violet Flame Enzyme Mask or Astara Blue Flame Purification Mask.
