L'Oreal Plenitude Turning Point Instant Facial
Recently, I took advantage of a great offer at my local drugstore. With the purchase of L'Oreal's Plenitude Turning Point facial cream, I received the Turning Point Instant Facial Scrub free of charge. Used together, this duo is supposed to work as an at-home facial treat that improves the skin's texture and leaves the complexion soft and glowing.

The first time I used the scrub, it didn't seem to do much at all. Upon carefully reading the instructions on the tube, I discovered why. I had used the scrub on my wet, just-washed face; it is meant to be used on dry skin and left on for at least one minute. So of course, I tried again. This time I felt a bit of a warm tingle and my skin felt very smooth after I rinsed my face. My skin also looked a bit pink after using this scrub.

I followed the scrub with an application of the Turning Point facial cream. The instructions say that this cream should only be used at night, so I expected the cream to be a strong treatment product. It wasn't. It felt very nice on my skin and made my face smooth and glowing. It just seemed like a really nice moisturizer (with BHA).

Overall, I liked these products, but I feel that they would be better suited for dry or sensitive skins. My oily skin can handle a stronger, grainier scrub (like Clinique's), and for some reason I enjoy a stronger scrub. If you have avoided scrubs in the past, this could be a great one to try. The facial lotion is nice and creates a smooth, pretty glow.
