Lip Shine Trio ($32)
This is the first product that I have tried from Benefit. The first thing that appealed to me was the packaging. It is cute and I am 41! I can see why the "younger" generation likes Benefit. These sparkling lip crèmes come in three shades: neutral mocha Purr, a warm shade; rose Oui Oui, my favorite color, a light pretty cool rose shade; and, champagne Charge it!, a warm shade.

By themselves they are very sheer, and a bit tacky with a drier texture than most glosses and slightly gritty due to the sparkle. I prefer them over lip liner or lipstick due to their sheerness but if you are going for a more natural look then you can wear them alone. The one thing I did not care for was that they do have that strong "lipstick" taste, and for that reason alone I wouldn't re-purchase, but if you don't mind that, then you should definitely take a look at these.
