report by Heather of the Cosmetic Connection Product Panel After hearing about Bumble & Bumble hair care products for years but never trying them, I finally discovered a store in my area that carries them! With minimalist packaging and simple promises, Bumble & Bumble is a no-frills line with some great, quality products. If there is one thing I am constantly fussing with, it's my hair. It truly has a mind of its own and needs to be tamed daily by a whole slew of products to control curl, tame frizzies, and relieve dryness. This high-maintenance hair has me constantly on the lookout for new and better products. On a trip to my local Beauty Warehouse, I decided to try Bumble & Bumble's Seaweed Conditioner ($15 for 8 ounces) in hopes of finding a cure for the frizzies. While I am sure this would be a great everyday conditioner for normal hair, for me it was only average. It takes what seems like a gallon of this conditioner to get my dry hair to feel soft. Even though the seaweed conditioner wasn't "the one" for me, I was still curious about the other Bumble & Bumble products. I loved the smell of the seaweed conditioner, so I decided to give the Seaweed Shampoo ($15 for 8 ounces) a try, hoping for better results. I got my wish - this is a good, basic shampoo for any hair type that cleanses thoroughly without drying the hair. On a Bumble & Bumble roll, I bought the Thickening Spray ($18 for 8 ounces) to see what it would do for my fine but wavy hair. After shampooing, conditioning, and briefly towel-drying, I spritzed the spray all over, worked in it, and went to work with the blow dryer. While the Thickening Spray did make my hair feel thicker and fuller, it also felt a bit sticky and gummy, like I had used regular hairspray. If you have seriouly fine hair that won't do anything, this is a great setting and styling spray if you don't mind a little stickiness.
