Clinique Stop Signs
report by Patty of the Cosmetic Connection Product Panel

Stop Signs was one of the first arrivals in a long line of anti-oxidant, age-fighting potions which claim to do everything: get rid of dark spots, diminish fine lines, add radiance, and of course, prevent future skin damage.

I usually like Clinique products, but I really didn't think much of this one. First of all, the bottle housing this pinkish fluid is really strange (think medicine dropper), which doesn't make applying the product very easy. At least the texture is nice and light, and absorbs rapidly into the skin.

I have been using Stop Signs for over a month now (I'm about half way through the bottle) and I haven't noticed or felt any improvement/difference in tone, texture, or clarity of my skin. Very disappointing! I don't have any noticeable lines as of yet, but somehow I just don't think this product would do much to help even if I did.

If you want to try one of the new anti-oxidant potions, I'd recommend trying a drugstore brand first, to see if your skin responds to topical multivitamins, before spending over $32 for Stop Signs.
