Christian Dior Colour Couture, retailing for $68.50, is a FABULOUS red cosmetic bag with a big buckle that when I buy I will use as my night out clutch! Tacky, maybe, but I want the collection for the bag alone! However, the cosmetics in the bag are great too. There is a full size five color eyeshadow palette in a flattering neutral tone, a soft pinky lipstick, Rose Souffle, a sample of Ultimeye Mascara in black, a mini blush in # 894 and a sample of Pure Poison. All in all, a very good deal. You can buy this at Saks.

YSL Collection Eyeliner looks fun for the holidays. It comes with three small jars of creamy liquid for lining and shadowing. The three colors are a neutral sand, a medium rose/bronze and a silver black. All are shimmery and the collection comes with a long brush handle and three attachments…one thin for lining, one slanted for shaping and one eye shadow brush. It might seem pricey at $70.00, but for what you get, I think it's a pretty good deal! Again, you can buy this at Saks or anywhere they sell YSL.

Guerlain Divinora Precious Colours Eyes, Lips, Cheek Palette in Gold Radiance will take you through the holidays and into spring. This is a beautiful creamy collection of color. The eyeliner is gorgeous, a shimmery black/gold that would be beautiful over another eyeliner. The other eye color is a glittery clear color to go over eyes or cheeks. The lip/cheek colors are a gold glitter gloss and a creamy nude color. The compact is a stunner too, a silver/black case with a 3d thumb print as the cover. It's hard to describe, but let me say, people will ask about your compact when you pull this one out! Guerlain can be purchased at Saks and Lord & Taylor, as well as other department stores.

Lorac Licked*Kissed*Bitten Lip Polish Collection are 8 tiny, little nail polish sized bottles of lip gloss. My two favorites are LKB 4, Hot Pink Shimmer, and LBK 2, Rose Shimmer. I love a gift that lets you try lots of different things without costing you an arm and a leg, and for $25.00 this fits the bill. This would make a great stocking stuffer or, you could be like me and give a few away to friends and still keep one or two for yourself! All the glosses smell minty and wouldn't take up a lot of room in your evening bag. Lorac Cosmetics are at Sephora and Sephora.com.

Guerlain Midnight Secret is a late night treatment that was explained to me to be geared towards clubbers who need to look refreshed with only a few hours sleep. Well, I don't go out much anymore since I can't stay awake past 10, but I do get up in the middle of the night with the baby so I thought I would give this a try. WOW - I have to tell you, this is the gift that I think I will buy myself! I put this on at 3 am when I was up changing diapers and my skin really did look good when I woke up. And then I tried it again after having sick kids up half the night, and I have to say, my skin looked rested, no baggy eyes, no sallow skin or that tired look your skin can have after a long night. My skin felt moisturized and soft, and looked so good that I didn't put any foundation or powder on during the day! That's some treatment!

I hope my family reads my list…I'll be disappointed if one of these items isn't under the tree... hmmm... I better go out and buy a few for myself just in case!

Delux Beauty Jr Duos
I have one of these, so why is it on my wish list? Because I love it so much I want all the shades! Everything about it is perfect: lightweight and sheer lipgloss on one end, creamy and blendable liquid blush on the other. The colors are gorgeous, the formulas are smooth and wearable, and the tube is so tiny you can pop it into your pocket. I'll take one of everything, please.

Laura Mercier Lavender Basil Body Butter ($40)
I have become a devotee again to using a body moisturizer of some kind after showering, and this is one I would love to have. The smell is heavenly, and Laura Mercier just has a way with bath and body products.

Clean Perfume (especially the roll-on perfume oil, $82 for .35oz)
I started wearing this about a month ago and I'm hooked. The fragrance is subtle but present, and light but still with body and character that lasts. I also love the roll-on applicator of the perfume oil, so I can dab it wherever I want.

Hard Candy Lunch Box ($25)
Sometimes makeup just needs to be fun and playful, and that's what Hard Candy is all about. This set looks like something you'd want to carry around to show your friends. It comes with two mini lip brushes and six lip glosses, an assortment of eight eye shadows, a mini mascara, eyeliner, and two double-ended eye shadow brushes, plus two universal shades of cream-to-powder concealer, a powder blush, and a shimmer highlighter, all in a snappy little blue case. Too cute, and a steal at $25!

I was shopping at The Blush Beauty Bar here in Portland with my mom on Black Friday (day after Thanksgiving) and Blush's delightful owner Deborah did my mom's makeup so beautifully using COLORFLO. I had almost forgotten how cool it is, but now that I've seen the COLORFLO way again, I need a new one for myself. This is the best mineral makeup, both in formula and packaging. The minerals go on so smooth and light, dispensing from just a click of the brush handle loaded with the mineral powder. No messy jars, no botched applications. When the handle is empty, you just buy a refill packet and pour it in. You are gorgeous and environmentally conscious. It's a good day.

Also, I have to mention Japonesque Heated Mini Eyelash Curler, the one and only eyelash curler I will use, and Sugar Lip Fever, the tastiest lip gloss out there. Get them and you will thank me :)
