Blush Papier Nacré ($15)
From single-dose foundation to individually wrapped makeup remover towelettes, my makeup bag is stocked with the most microscopic beauty quick fixes. So the second I saw Lancome's Blush Papier Nacré shimmering blush cheek sheets, I had to try them. They are the perfect evening bag solution to no one noticing you at parties because you blend so perfectly with the walls. The thin sheets are like fairy-dusted blotting paper - if fairies vacationed in Rio, that is. Each is coated with a layer of bronze powder that gives a healthy glow to all complexions and has enough blush for several applications (you can put partially used sheets underneath the package flap and secure the whole with the attached gold elastic band). And I was pleased to see that the powder stayed in the package and didn't shake off onto everything else in my bag. Blush Papier Nacré comes in just the one shade, but with a product so ingenious, I would hope to see a wider range of colors follow.

Lancome is available at department stores and on Lancome.com (www.lancome.com).
