M Professional
report by Connie of the Cosmetic Connection Product Panel
MProfessional is a drugstore makeup line that competes with the likes of
Jane, Prestige, Nat Robbins, Lord and Berry and can hold its own against
Urban Decay, Bloom, Stila, etc. The line is sold at Ulta3, Meijers,
Nordstrom Rack, Urban Outfitters. For more information go to
www.mprofessional.com. Most of the products are under $5. They have a
haircare product line which I hope to try soon.
Lipliner in spice (around $2)
This is a lipliner in pencil style thus the name. This color is a taupe almost cocoa color. It is identical to Urban Decay's midnight cowboy. In fact I lined one half of my lip with this and the other with Urban Decay and could not tell the difference in color or quality. The liner goes on nice and last throughout the day without fading. It blends with most of the lighter shades of brown lipcolor. I really like this liner and was amazed at the quality for the price. It is funny how identical it was to Urban Decay's, which is a great deal more in price.
Matte Lipstick in V...? and Extortion (around $3)
Holy Matte Lipstick Batman. This stuff is awesome. True matte to perfection. Color wonderful and quality A #1. The lipstick comes in a traditional style tube lipstick in a matte black container. The quality is incredible this stuff will not come off until midnight if you keep let it. You definitely have to use soap and water to remove it. It could be drying
but I used a little bit of lipbalm underneath it. It does not bleed, fade
or feather. It looks great and lasts forever. Extortion is a great brown
shade. I liked this for a day color. It goes great with pretty much
anything I wore. V...? is a deep wine color. I really like this
lipstick. If you are in the market for a matte lipcolor, look no further.
Blusher in Serene
Great blush. The product comes in a round container with a twist off cap. They give you .06 oz of color for around $3. You can't beat this deal. Serene is a nice deep coral color. Great look for the spring. The color blends nicely and is not overpowering. It does not cake up and is smooth on the face. It is a matte shade blush, which is nice for the daytime. I will be looking for more colors from MProfessional.
Eyeshadow in Taupe, Sienna, and Bisque (around $3)
This product comes in a small round container with a twist off cap. These colors are nice earth tones for daytime. They are all matte colors.
As far as I am concerned these eyeshadows can definitely hold there own
with the department store lines. They blend wonderfully and go on like a
breeze. There is lots of color here and they look wonderfully. I did not
experience any signs of creasing at all. I would definitely buy this line
again. Bisque is a cream-ivory shade for lightening. Sienna is a rusty
brown color that I used for the crease part of my eyelid. Taupe is a
wonderful neutral color that I used as a base for my colors.
Mprofessional is definitely worth a try if you ask me.
