Origins
report by Jennifer of the Cosmetic Connection Product Panel

I have always enjoyed Origins' products as well as the entire shopping experience in their "boutique" atmosphere. It was tough choosing a few products to report on due to all the choices, and with names like True Grit, Clean Comfort and Fret Not, I was even more tempted to find out if these products did deliver what their names insinuated.

True Grit ($15 for 5 ounces)
This is a body exfoliant worth every penny. I found it to be not only soothing but extremely emollient. My skin felt clean and very smooth. With shorts season right around the corner, this is a must.

Clean Comfort ($15 for 6.7 ounces)
This body wash smells delicious, probably because of all the essential oils put into it. Again, a very emollient product and it sudses beautifully. A wonderful compliment to True Grit. I only wish these products came in JUMBO sizes.

Precipitation ($20 for 8 ounces)
First of all I must say that my dry skin is not limited to my face. Any body lotion I find that keeps my skin soft and supple will grace my bathroom counter forever. This, unfortunately, will not be seen again. Although I loved the fragrance, it did not perform the way I had expected. I was told to smooth on after a shower while my skin was still damp, but even then I did not find the emollience I was looking for. Also, I wish manufacturers would make much larger sizes for body lotion. This 8 ounce bottle does not go far. My kids loved it, but it's obviously too pricey even for their tender skin.
