Origins Tealights Color-Boosting Shampoo

If you tend to shy away from the commitment of permanent hair color, or if you want something more subtle, Tealights ($16.50) is a interesting new product to consider. These colored shampoos deposit subtle color and shine on your hair but wash out easily when you go back to your regular shampoo. Tealights comes in Verbena Leaf for blonde hair, Ginger for brown hair, Cherry Bark for auburn hair, Rose Hips for red hair and Black Chai for black hair. I chose Ginger because I am experimenting with making my naturally dark ash blonde hair more brown; after using Tealights for four days in a row, the difference is still very subtle, so I will probably leave it on longer before rinsing or use it twice in a row to get the color a bit darker.
