Stila
report by Bobbi of the Cosmetic Connection Product Panel

Convertible Color ($28)
I have always used powder blush until this last year. My skin has, until lately, been pretty oily. As I age, it is not so oily, but more normal. I had always stayed away from cream blush, as it would slide right off my face! Well, no more! Now, powder blushes seem to just stand on top of my skin and look so artificial.

I have tried several cream blushes, but by far my favorite is Stila Convertible Color. It is so sheer and non-greasy, it makes my face glow. It does not sit on top of the skin, rather it appears as if it is really your skin glowing.

The bonus is that it can also be used for the lips. I have tried Peony and Poppy, and love both the colors. The compact has a mirror so touch-ups are easy. Convertible Color is a little expensive, but you use just a small amount, so it will last forever.

Lip Glaze ($24)
Stila has introduced new fresh fruit lip glazes that are ultra-laquered, and have a delicious smell. The effect on the lips is transparent, but provides more color and lasts longer than any other glaze I have tried. The sales person at Saks told me that these are the lipsticks that were used in the new Charlie's Angels movie.

The applicator is a new design for lip glazes. You twist and then press it on your lips. It is great and gives just the right amount of color. There are presently 7 colors. I have tried the Raspberry and Strawberry. They are terrific colors for summer. Although somewhat pricey, they seem to be lasting a long time.

Sport h2off ($18 for 40 cloths)
I travel frequently, I exercise, I play golf, and during the summer I often redo my makeup before I go out in the evening. It is sometimes a chore to use my regular cleanser and water, so I was excited to try the Stila h2off cleansing cloths. These disposable tightly woven cloths contain cleansing and soothing properties. It leaves your face feeling refreshed and clean, not sticky. It is safe for both the face and the eye area.

There is just enough of a wet feel that you don't feel like you need to rub. I am really pleased with these cloths as they do not affect my sensitive skin and remove makeup easily.
