Stila Sport
report by Nava of the Cosmetic Connection Product Panel

Stila is still hands-down, one of my very favorite cosmetics lines. Any time they come out with new products, I'm always eager to investigate. Here's what I've tried from their new Sport line:

Pivotal Skin Foundation, SPF 8 ($24.00 for a 1/2 oz. compact)
The packaging of this foundation is genius, and is also appealing if you've ever been fascinated by playing with stamp pads. You simply press your finger onto the pad containing the foundation and smooth it onto your face. The coverage is wonderfully sheer and blendable, plus it will cover up redness and minor imperfections. The shades are the same letter range as the Liquid and Complete Coverage foundations, so finding your Pivotal Skin match should be easy.

If you want to create an effortless, casual "no make-up" face, go with Pivotal Skin!

Color Push-ups All Over Color ($20 for a .31 oz. tube)
Another packaging innovation here, but I have to admit, I've seen this before: Anyone familiar with Mustela products will agree that Color Push-ups could be easily mistaken for Hydra-Stick lip/cheek balm. The Stila version comes in two colors: Rouge Flash, a rosy red stain, and Blush Flash, a tawny, bronzy shade. Both can be quickly swiped over cheeks and lips and blended for a healthy, flushed look.

Color Push-ups are the perfect companion for Pivotal Skin!

You can find Stila at Sephora stores (and now online at Sephora.com), and at most Nordstrom and Barneys New York stores.

Happy Shopping!
