Back when Urban Decay first got started and green nail polish was all the rage, I owned a bottle of Roach and a bottle of Asphyxia, and I felt oh-so "alternative". Thankfully you don't have to sport blue or green nails to be "in" these days, and UD is forging ahead with some great new wearable shades for fall. This new collection, cleverly named "YDK" - hehe, a little millennium humor - has pleasing shades of mocha, fuchsia and purple that you can wear to the office, to a party, or just hanging around the house. Here's the lowdown:

Eyes: YDK, Acid Rain, Big Bang, and Crash shadows; Crash liquid liner
My personal favorite is YDK, a light mocha with gold shimmer. Crash is also really cool as a liner. All the UD shadows are soft, silky, easy to blend, and last well throughout the day.

Lips (available in lipstick and gloss): YDK, Big Bang
YDK is too brown for my taste, and Big Bang, while a beautiful color, is not what I'd call an everyday shade. I'd say check them out for yourself to see if they suit you.

Nails: YDK, Acid Rain, and Big Bang
I love, love, love YDK and Big Bang polish colors! YDK is a gorgeous neutral with a hint of gold while Big Bang is a stunning fuchsia. I like to wear YDK on my fingernails and Big Bang on my toes - looked great with sandals this summer!
